Nevertheless, sequencing complete genomes is still very expensive and time-consuming, and many scientific problems focus on certain genomic regions only. Nimblegen Sequence Capture Arrays offer a unique opportunity to specifically enrich your regions of interest prior to sequencing: long oligos (55-100mers) complementary to these genomic regions are directly synthesized on an array and will catch their targets with high specificity and efficiency from a genomic DNA sample in a simple hybridization reaction.
