Illumina Custom SNP Genotyping Service
Introduction
Illumina Custom SNP Genotyping is performed on the BeadXpress (BX) Station which offers maximum flexibility for low- to midplex custom panels. Two different assays are available on the BX station: the well-known Golden Gate assay available at 96plex or 384plex formats, and the ASPE (allele-specific primer extension) assay available for 1plex to 72plex formats. The BX Station is especially suited for high sample throughput allowing cost-effective genotyping.
